What is the difference in a Samsung and a Vizio lcd t.v?
I would like to buy a tv but I have a low budget. I wanted Samsung and 1080p but they are on the high price. I found a vizio 32 inch with 1080p for $559 and a 32 in. Samsung 720p for $499. I want a very good picture, which one should I go for?
The Samsung not only has a better pic, even at 720p, but it is simply a much higher quality TV all around. And 1080p in a small screen like this is far more marketing hype than substance.
Vizio is third tier junk assembled from god-only-knows what kind of cheap Chinese parts, like Polaroid, Dynex, Insignia, Element, and Westinghouse, to name but a few. Read this – http://www.hdguru.com/?p=107/
In 32″, the best brands for BOTH performance and reliability are, pretty much in order, Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, and Samsung. After these, quality just falls off too fast to take the chance.
