Panasonic HDTV Need some buying tips?
Im going to buy a new 42″ HDTV within the next month. Ive been looking at alot of tv’s under 800 and i think ive come to settle with the panasonic TC-P42S1. Ive always found plasma better than lcd. Anyway anyone have and opionions or thoughts about this tv? Are there any other 42″ you would recommend under 800?

Outstanding contrast ratio(2,000,000:1 dynamic; 40,000:1 native) will give you very deep blacks as well as vivid and rich looking colors! 1080p with .001ms response time as well as 600hz refresh rate will make fast motion content like sports, movies and gaming look amazing!
I guarantee that you WON’T be disappointed with this TV!
If you get this TV, be sure to condition it before full use. Keep the contrast down a bit for the first 100hrs or so as well as no or limited gaming. I used the ‘Cinema’ display option in the menu to help condition my Panasonic Plasma(TH-42PX80U). Cinema has a low contrast(brightness) to it and it worked perfectly for conditioning my Plasma! There is also a ‘Custom’ display option, but that’s up to the individual!
