My Sony Blu Ray BDP-S360 will not connect to the internet – can not Communicate with sever?
I have just bought a Sony BDP S360 – the network settings say the connections are fine but when i try to update it, it will not connect to the internet – it says it can not communicate with the sever – I am using a bt home hub as a router. It is connected by a LAN cable which works fine for my xbox 360 – please help and tell me why it is no working, it is driving me mad!!!!!!
Check if your BD player got an IP address and links to the correct DNS.
“ping” that IP from your PC, if all works well, you should be able to ping to it.
See if you can ping that “server” from a PC.
See if you connect the BD player to some other web site.
