Samsung Blu Ray Soundbar
How to hook up blu ray and sound system?
I just got a blu ray player (samsung bd 4600) and the samsung soundbar home theater system and need to hook it up. The manuals are confusing me. Also I am not sure whether I am supposed to connect the blu ray player to the soundbar or the tv and vice versa. If anyone knows how to set it up any help would be appreciated thanks
Run one HDMI cable from the Bluray to the soundbar’s HDMI input, then another HDIM from the soundbar’s output into the TV’s input.
If the soundbar doesn’t have HDMI input then:
Run HDMI from the bluray’s output to the tv, run optical cable from bluray player to soundbar.

Some sound bars are 5 channel, do not use red and white base audio cables unless there is no other choice.
