40 gig ps3?
I was wondering is the 40 gig ps3 a good buy.
Its in my price range i dont really want to go any higher..((((spent the most of my money on a 52 inch lcd 1080p samsung)))) Its my first HD tv. and it looks great…i wanted to just get a blu ray stand alone player but i keep reading the ps3 is a better buy…you can play games…blu rays and update it via internet…The new bundle in a couple months looks nice…But not in my price range…So is the 40 good..i can just buy the duel shock controllers later i guess….And how is the fan noise on the ps3…when watching blu ray….That was a thing brought up in a couple reviews i read….Thanks any info and suggestions appreciated.
If you don’t mind that it isn’t backwards compatible, it’s a good buy. It still plays DVDs, just not PS2 discs. The PS3 is better than stand alone blu-ray players. I have the PS3 and have watched others, but the PS3 is still the best for watching blu-ray discs. I love the quality of the picture and sound. You will love it and it will go perfectly with your new HDTV.
