How to set up TV and Blu-Ray player for DVD upconvert?
I just bought a Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu Ray player that gave terrible picture quality the first time I put in a regular DVD. What are the best settings to maximize picture quality?
My player is connected via HDMI to a Samsung 1360×768 LCD that can support up to 1080i.
If the picture quality of the dvd movie is bad it will be magnified at the higher resolution. The blu ray disc player has no set up nor does the tv, it is done automatically by the machine.
